A day in the Life of me

High School OVER! Summer started!

Hey all! Wow, this past weekend was one of my more busier weekends ever. I graduated Saturday, had tons of open houses. Then we all went to see star wars 3. An awesome movie. Probably the best of all 6. Then on sunday I had church and my open house. It turned out great. We had a lot of people. Thank you to all who came. Then monday came, and the thank you notes had begun. But I got them all finished on monday which was pretty much my goal. On top of all the thank you notes I had to fix my friends computer. Us Willis' are known for our hectic lifestyles though so Im sure no one else actually realized I was busy. It was a great weekened. Now summer starts. The last one for a long time for me. I hope I can still have summer breaks in college, but I know a lot of people like taking summer classes to get ahead and stuff so I assume ill follow suit. Summer starts, I want it to go slow, yet I want it to go fast. Im still not sure yet. I hate leaving friends. And on monday I saw one of my friends that ive known since I was 4 for the last time until december. It was a pretty sad day, but it has to come sometime. So mixed emotions here on my side for this blog. Work is calling my name, ill be home later maybe to find time and sit and write again. Thanks for stopping by bloggettes/bloggers!

School... Almost done... Must survive!

So today was "Senior Field Day" when they are giving seniors a day to just play sports and goof around you know that its almost the end of the year. I personally can't wait. Today me and a bunch of friends went to play some Ulitmate frisbee for field day today. It was perfect weather... A little hot, but not too bad. It was some fun stuff. Wow, its been a while since ive written. Lets see, the IM retreat went awesome. I met someone. :D She is awesome. Her name is Mackenzie, and she only lives like 5 mins away, so we've been seeing each other a lot. We've been hanging out a lot. We're both hating that Im leaving this summer. I almost don't even want to talk about it that much, so I guess I wont. Anyways, after the IM re-treat our church pretty much started a renovation period. Right now were re-doing the teen center. Painting, and just changing some stuff around. Its been fun and were going to tile the floor this time. We're nicknaming it the "Solid Rock Cafe." Its going to have kind of a coffee shop feel. There will be an expresso machine and all of that which will only be stocked with starbucks coffee... We're pretty much becoming spoiled. So lately thats whats been going on around the the church. Well, and ultimate of course. The next mission is re-doing the auditorium... That will be a job. The roof looks horrible so we have to re-do that, and the carpet, bigger sound booth, new pews, just various sorts of different stuff. That will be a job. Im doing really good, I hope everyone else is aswell! Ill be back for more later!

ULTIMATE IM RETREAT!

Hey, tomorrow everyone from the youth group is heading down to the area wide ULTIMATE IM retreat. Its going to be a lot of fun. In theme, they are going to have an ULTIMATE frisbee tournament. We have a team going down, and I think the girls are putting together a team as well. This will be so much fun considering we play ever sunday now and finally we get to show it off some to other people. Its going to be an awesome time. Some people cant go for which I am sad. But thats why we will take the win home to them! Anyways enough boasting on our Ultimate frisbee elite powers. Its going to be an interesting them. It is talking about God being our IM (Instant Messenger) it is going to be interesting to see it all work around for the topic this weekend. Im assuming lots of screennames will be swapped and exchanged. To tell ya the truth thats really all thats going on right now in my life, so im continuing to stall on here so I might forget that I have to be to work in like 25 mins. Ill be going to two proms this year... There goes all the money ive had been saving... LOL Ill be going to the Warren Prom on April, 30th, and then the Lawrence North Prom on May 14th. I was glad to hear I was able to get off work for Ultimate IM retreat April 15-17, Prom 1 April 30th, and Prom 2 May 14th. Considerably closely together and all being weekends its hard to do that all the time with a restaurant workplace. Well, speaking of I really need to start at least getting dressed for work. But it was good to hang out with you guys some and pretend I didnt have to go! Swing by for some more good stuff and hear how the retreat went after I get back! Later w()rld

Its my Bday

Finally the ole 1, 8. An adult, hard to believe and imagine. And yes to everyone out there that is out there thinking April 2nd? Yes, I almost was an April fool but it wouldnt clash with my personality all the time though would it? So I guess now I get to start looking back and wishing I was younger? Maybe. Although I think getting older has tons of advantages also. So all the people out there that seem to just keep getting older... *cough* Start looking forward to it, good things do come with age. I thought my day was going to be extremely busy today but I was looking at the schedule and it really doesnt get toooo busy until we start playing ultimate today at 4. Well, so ya, its my birthday, and this seemed like a good reason to update the blog today! Catch you guys lata.

Down at ACU

I come bearing news from the ACU Library! My brother and I are just hanging out some. At least im not the one trying to write a 20 page paper... wow. Ive had a good time down here during my spring break. It has been a lot of fun. Ive gone to lots of different departments for different departamental visits. Today was really fun because I went to a academic advisor. I took a test before going to describe my personality. It said that I am a Extravert - outgoing, energetic, involves people easily, and can handle change easily. The next type that it labeled me as was a "Sensor"- Someone who is practical, realistic, pays attention to details, and has a clear writing style. The Third attribute that described me was that I am a "Feeler"- meaning im friendly, have good interpersonal skills, persuasive and am compassionate. The last "type focus" personality highlighted was Perceptive - Flexible, adaptable, able to go with the flow, and am good in emergencies.

After taking the test I went down to my advisors office and we talked about possible career options that I can do with my life. This was a very interesting time. You really have to step back and let your feelings decide what you should be in life. Finally we both came to the conclusion that Psychology was a good pick for me. I had recently been thinking psychology to be a major possibility anyways. My advisor was immediately suprised on how prepared I was on picking a major/career. I still am not exactly sure what I WANT to do with a psychology degree, possibly family and marriage counseling, or possibly a sports psychologist. I believe whatever I do, I should be involved in helping people *cough* extrovert/feeler. He said that I would also be a good coach for sports and would work good with kids aswell as adults. Which I have pretty much decided to do when I have kids and if they decide to play sports, I would like to go through it with them as their coach. Not only is it a good bond but it I would enjoy doing it. I remember having some coaches during my baseball years that I knew just did it because their kids were in it and were probably convinced into doing it. It was not a good situation.

Im excited about begining my journey at ACU down this fall, everytime I come down I feel more and more like a student. But im not quite there. Recently I just got my ACU e-mail address and logon name. WOW! Ultimate frisbee has been really awesome down here at ACU aswell. All of the buildings have good lights on them pointing to some open fields so its really easy to play at night. So its cool and not very windy, a definet plus. Tonight Katrina, Mark and I are all going to play some scrabble before some more intense ultimate. High school kid going against two collge kids one being in Grad school. We will see how I turn out... Ouch... Its about time I end this madness of an entry. But ill be back for more... Muahaahahahahaha.

Been a long time... sheeeesh...

Wow, I just realized that it has been forever since ive posted. Ive been extremely busy lately with just various sorts of things. Just for an update, im not going to stay back in Indy for the summer, Im going to ACU in the fall praise God for enough scholarships to make it possible. Hrmmm, what has been going on in my life lately... Work, school, work, oo and school... Wow interesting enough? Lets see on monday my ankle decided to sprain so currently im not very mobile, and im really wanting to play ultimate frisbee on Sunday but everyone is saying that they are going to find a way to make me unable to play. Bailey said that she was going to tie me into a car with a seat belt. So I might as well just let them win. I am supposed to video tape and make a highlight reel for ultimate. So ill have fun doing that as well. My ankle is feeling better I got to take the air cast off already, doesnt feel too bad. Ah winterfest... It was awesome as usual. We took a coach bus down this year because we no longer have the church vans available. Soon though were getting a teen bus which is going to be split with the pre-school. We definetly plan to get the spray paint and make it our own, it'll be awesome. This spring break me and about 3 or 4 people from my youth group are making a trip down to ACU to see Mark and to check the college out... Im mainly going down there to start getting used to stuff down there although im already pretty much familiar with the campus, so Ill just be playin ultimate frisbee the whole time. It will be a fun trip were driving down so we will get lots of talkin done, 15 hrs sheeeesh...

Winterfest is imminent!

Excitment is in abundance as the tomorrow gets closer! Tomorrow being winterfest. It is going to be such an awesome trip. I can't wait to go. Im going love getting closer to others in the youth group and learning more about the creator. I can't wait to go. As a prayer I ask for the blog world is that the youth group will grow not only stronger, but closer as well. As for now, I have homework to do... sigh.

College coming quicker than I thought

Hey. Ive been realizing lately that college is just around the corner for me. I know I wanna go to ACU and study psychology with a minor in sociology possibly. I really enjoy both of the fields and have gotten some classes out of the way in high school for psychology, so it would really be a good thing for me. Ive been noticing more and more that college means money though, so im going to be praying for enough scholarships to not have to borrow too much meaning not having to pay back as much. Ive even thought about staying one year here and working while maybe going to a school to study missions. And then going next year to ACU, lots of things have crossed my mind, so im not exactly sure what I want to do yet I guess. Which is definetly no good. So just pray for my decision making in the next couple of months/weeks. I know God has a good plan for me and I intend to follow what he wants me to do. Thanks for stopping by blog world!
